Photo Policy

To submit a photo for consideration for inclusion in The Bay or On Scene, highlight and copy the text below, click on the Submit link, paste the text into the email form that pops up (or email to submissions@arizoft.com), and attach the photos to the email. Be sure to insert your name. Photos should be no larger that 600x450 pixels, 25Kb, and in JPG or GIF format. Note that only the original photographer or a formal assignee of distribution rights may submit photos. Photos which show department logos must be submitted by chief officers or department personnel empowered to give the permissions listed in the submission letter, or a letter (containing the same permissions) from such an officer on department letterhead must be mailed to Arizoft Software, 11463 E. Dixon Lane, Hereford, AZ 85615, before the photo can be included in the website. We appreciate each submission, and we’ll try to show all of them! Certain submissions may be selected for inclusion in future Arizoft products; if they are, you’ll receive full credit in the program.

Statement of Permissions

I, (INSERT NAME HERE), holding the right to distribute or assign permission to distribute the attached photographs, do assign to Arizoft Software the right to print, publish, or otherwise use and distribute the attached photographs. Arizoft Software may modify the attached photographs as it considers necessary. Arizoft Software may use the attached photographs in any published, printed, or electronic materials, including materials that may be sold on a for-profit basis or used in promotional materials used to market such materials. I waive any claim to compensation for the attached photographs if they are used in such fashion, and release Arizoft Software from any liability or claim to damages arising from such use. If an identifying mark, trademark, or other proprietary mark is portrayed in the attached photographs, I certify to Arizoft Software that I have the right to grant permission to display said mark, grant such permission to Arizoft Software, and release Arizoft Software from any liability or claim to damages arising from the display of said mark. I understand that misrepresentation of these rights may lead to serious criminal or civil claims.
